Wednesday June 3rd

8th grade-Congratulations to the Class of 2020! It has been my pleasure teaching you these past several years. I wish all of you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors!

7th and 6th grade students- Have a wonderful summer! It was my pleasure teaching you this previous year. Remember to register for school for next year! Summer work will be given to you to complete upon registration.

Tuesday June 2nd

8th grade S.S.-Activity- The students will take notes on a variety of Cold War topics. They will then create a variety of political cartoons based on the Cold War topics of 1960s-1970s.

7th grade S.S.-The students will learn about Lincoln’s assassination. They will collect information and piece together the plan to cripple the government. The students will then come up with a one page reflection on why John Wilkes Booth wanted to carry out this plan and how it impacted our nation. This will be due on June 2nd at 9 a.m.

6th grade S.S.- The students will take notes on the Crusades and then create a shield representing the Crusades. This will be due on June 3rd by 9 a.m. 

 

Monday June 1st

8TH grade S.S.- The students will identify important topics within the Cold War.Activity- The students will take notes on a variety of Cold War topics. They will then create a variety of political cartoons based on the Cold War topics of 1950s-1960s.

7th grade S.S.- The students will learn about Lincoln’s assassination. They will collect information and piece together the plan to cripple the government. The students will then come up with a  one page reflection on why John Wilkes Booth wanted to carry out this plan and how it impacted our nation. This will be due on June 2nd at 9 a.m.  The students will also create a wanted poster for John Wilkes Booth and his co-conspirators.  This will be due on June 3rd by 9 a.m.

 

6th grade S.S. The students will take notes on Feudalism and the Manor System. They will then complete a societal structure of feudal society. This will be due on June 2nd by 9 a.m.

 

Friday May 29th

8th grade Religion-The students will read outline and read pages 134-142 in their religion workbooks.

8th grade S.S.-The students will take notes on a variety of Cold War topics. They will then create a variety of political cartoons based on the Cold War topics of 1950s-1960s. The political cartoon will be due on June 1st at 9 a.m.

6th grade S.S.-The students will take notes on spread of Christianity in Europe after the fall of Rome. They will also take notes on Charlemagne’s Empire. The students will create a map of Charlemagne’s Empire and hand into the teacher on June 1st by 9 a.m.

 

Thursday May 28th

8th grade Literature-8th grade Literature- The students will complete the comprehension worksheet by May 29th at 9 a.m.

8th grade Religion-The students will take outline and read pages 122-130 in their religion workbooks. This assignment will be due on May 29th at 9 a.m.

8th grade S.S. The students will take notes on a variety of Cold War topics. They will then create a variety of political cartoons based on the Cold War topics of 1950s-1960s. The students will hand in their  political cartoon by May 29th at 9 a.m.

6th grade S.S.-The students will complete a physical map of Europe and take notes on topics that are give to them by the teacher.The map of Europe and Notes will be due on May 29th at 9 a.m.

 

Wednesday May 27th

8th grade Literature- The students will complete comprehension worksheet by May 29th at 9 a.m.

8th grade Religion-The students will complete page 119 in their religion workbooks by May 27th at 9 a.m.

8th grade S.S.-  The students will take notes on a variety of Cold War topics. They will then create a variety of political cartoons based on the Cold War topics of 1950s-1960s. The political cartoon will be due on May 28th at 9 a.m.

8th grade Religion- The students will read pages 109-118 in their religion workbooks. They will then create an outline that will be due on May 27th at 9 a.m.

8th grade S.S.- The students will take notes on a variety of Cold War topics. They will then create a variety of political cartoons based on the Cold War topics of 1950s-1960s. The political cartoons will be due on May 27th.

7th grade S.S.- The students will present their current event this  to the class by May 26th.

6th grade S.S.- The students will begin working on a current event article based on our country write a two-paragraph summary. The students will present this live to class by May 27th.

Friday May 22nd

6 th grade S.S.- The students will take their chapter test on Ancient Rome. This assignment will be due on May 26th by 9 a.m.

Thursday May 21st

Today will be a make up day for students needing to hand in assignments for partial credit or make up an assessment. Students that need to make up assignments have been given their work under May 14th. Any student that does not need to make up work will need to check in for attendance and then leave the google meet after.

8th grade Religion- The students will create a drawing of Mary and write two paragraphs on devotions that are geared towards Mary during the Month of May this activity will be due on May 22nd.

8th grade S.S.- The students will take their World War II Test. This assignment will be due on May 22nd by 9 a.m.

7th grade S.S.- The students will take their test on the American Civil War. This assignment will be due on May 22nd by 9 a.m.

6th grade S.S.- The students will take their chapter test on Ancient Rome. This assignment will be due on May 26th by 9 a.m.
