8th grade Literature- The All Quiet on the Western Front book report is due on February 8th.

8th grade S.S.- The students will create advertisements for the new movies and music appearing during the 1920s. There will be a quiz held on February 9th.

7th grade S.S.- .Work on your First Industrial Revolution project that will be due on February 18th. Read pages 346-349 questions 1-3. Work on the Trail Map.

6th grade S.S.-The students will create their own shield either favoring Athens or Sparta. They will draw pictures and images that represent Athens or Sparta. This assignment will be due on February 8th. Bring in your supplies to build your Greek City-State by February 8th.

February 4th

February 3rd

8th grade Religion– The students will read page 86-91. They will complete all of the exercises by February 5th.

8th grade S.S.-The students will go over notes and then create a political cartoon dealing with issues or problems during the 1920s decade. This assignment will be due on February 4th. They will have a quiz on the tensions of 1920s on February 5th. The WWI diorama project is due on February 4th.

7th grade S.S.-Read pages 424-429 questions 1-4.

Perhaps the character had the same type of family as yours, was the same age as you or played the same sport as you. Maybe the character had a personality similar to yours. Select a fictional character that is similar to you in some way. Write an essay comparing and contrasting the character with yourself. Use specific examples in your essay to illustrate the similarities and differences. This will be a five paragraph essay. This will be due on February 1st.

8th grade Literature- Chapter ten vocabulary words will be due on January 29th.

8th grade Grammar-The students will answer the following question on Criterion. You are an astronaut who has been sent on a secret mission by the President. You are to determine if any intelligent life exists on a planet in a galaxy far away. What happens on your trip? Do any problems arise? What do you find out? Write a story about your adventure. Be creative! Five paragraphs. This will be due on January 25th.

8th grade S.S.- There will be a quiz on WWI battles on January 25th. Students must bring in their supplies to build their WWI diorama by January 27th.

8th grade Religion-The students will work on their Confirmation journals pages 41 to 61.

7th grade S.S.-Work on your Diorama project. Please bring in supplies by 1/25  to work on them in class. Read pages 396-401 questions 1-4. There will be a quiz on the Industrial Revolution on January 25th.

6th grade S.S.- The poster favoring Democracy is due on January 25th. There will be a quiz on the Athenian government on January 25th.
